A Little About Chwala Performance Horses...
Welcome to Chwala Performance Horses online. Andy Chwala has been professionally training horses for 12 years. He holds degrees in Equine Science, Horse Science Technology and a B.A. in Animal Science. With a great combination of hands-on experience and education, he purchased and established Chwala Performance Horses in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin in 2003.
Andy specializes in reining, roping and working cowhorse events and he and his clients are regular exhibitors in NRHA, AQHA and ApHC events. Whether you’re a non-pro or youth looking to hone your skills or you’re looking for a world-class rider to take your open horse to the next level, Chwala Performance Horses has what you’re looking for. Andy will personally work with you and your horse to achieve your goals.
In recent years, the Chwala Performance Horses team has won numerous world, national and regional titles. In 2009 they coached the ApHC World Show High-Point Non-Pro Cattle Horse---a team that won three world titles that year. 2009 also saw ApHC World Show wins in Jr. Working Cowhorse and Sr. Judged Heeling. At the 2010 ApHC World Show, their team took home titles in Jr. Judged Heeling, Sr. Judged Heeling and a Reserve Championship in Sr. Reining. In 2010 Andy won the NCRHA Lmt. Open Derby, was the NCRHA Int. Open Saddle winner and was the MCRA Open Saddle winner. One of his clients in 2010 also won the MCRA Green as Grass Custom Spurs.
